Welcome to the Sunshine Arts website.Sunshine Arts are a long-established English folk-arts group specialising in working in schools, at Festivals and in the community. Most of what we do is inspired by traditional activities from the British Isles whilst other projects and events draw upon folk traditions from around the world. |

We offer a wide range of creative craft workshops, ranging from those suitable for a small number of children (or adults!) to activities involving a whole school - for more information see the sections on Craft Workshops, Folk Drama and Productions. We have the necessary CRB enhanced dislosure certificates required to allow unsupervised work with children. | |||||

Dave Hunt, the founder of Sunshine Arts, is widely known at folk festivals as the children's entertainer "Dr. Sunshine" and is in constant demand to run activities at a wide range of events. Dave is also one of the top English barn-dance/ceilidh dance callers and has worked with the best bands in the field for many years. He is as happy calling for a few people at a wedding as he is calling for hundreds of dancers at festivals. He is also a skilled musician and singer - as are most of the team. |

| Several of the Sunshine Arts
team are involved with traditional English dance as members of the
Ironbridge Ironmen (men's border Morris) and Severn Gilder's (women's
